Sosialisasi Gerakan Zero Waste dalam Pengolahan Limbah Sampah Rumah Tangga bagi Warga Kelurahan Klampis Surabaya
Abstract
Abstrak. Gerakan Zero Waste telah menjadi fokus utama dalam upaya menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan. Dalam konteks warga Kelurahan Klampis Surabaya, masalah pengelolaan limbah rumah tangga menjadi perhatian utama karena masih banyak individu yang belum mengadopsi praktik zero waste dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan untuk memperkenalkan dan meningkatkan pemahaman serta penerapan gerakan Zero Waste di komunitas ini. Melalui kolaborasi antara Tim Dosen dan Mahasiswa Institut Sains dan Teknologi Terpadu Surabaya dengan anggota PKK, penyuluhan dan sosialisasi gerakan Zero Waste dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober hingga Desember 2023. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui pengisian kuesioner, yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran dan niat untuk menerapkan praktik Zero Waste dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Diharapkan bahwa kegiatan ini akan memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih bersih, sehat, dan berkelanjutan di warga Kelurahan Klampis Surabaya.
