IMPLEMENTASI PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI SD MUHAMMADIYAH 1 TAMAN, SIDOARJO
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research is to study and implement education strengthening policies at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School, Taman, Sidoarjo, East Java. This study uses qualitative-descriptive methods with direct interviews, secondary data analysis, and field monitoring, which are crucially influencing the course of the implementation of policies based on Mazmanian and Sabatier theories. The results showed the problem character variables, the implementation of character education represented a problem that was quite difficult to implement. However, due to the importance of character education, this policy was implemented by SD Muhammadiyah 1 Park optimally. In the characteristic variable of policy, education policy is a government policy that is quite clear and has been approved by the applicable regulations, so it is very relevant to be implemented in Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School. While in the variable environment, the support of character education received very positive support from the community, making it very easy for Muhammadiyah 1 Taman Elementary School in implementing this policy. Obstacles in the implementation of character strengthening at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Park include family awareness, environmental factors, educator resources as an implementer of this character education strengthening program.
