GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DAN IKLIM KOMUNIKASI PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA PEGAWAI DI DINAS KESEHATAN KABUPATEN INDRAGIRI HILIR
Abstract
The purpose of the study was to describe the influence of leadership style and communication climate on work motivation in the Indragiri Hilir District Health Office. The unit of analysis in this study was employees at the Indragiri Hilir District Health Office. The population in this study were all employees as many as 60 people. The sampling technique is total sampling, i.e. taking samples from the population for the purposes of research. The data to be analyzed in the study were obtained from research subjects which could be collected using the questionnaire and documentation method. Data processing procedures in this study were done by scoring answers to the questionnaire, Recapitulation of values, Descriptive analysis, and summing the values of each variable. The results of the study and data analysis explained that the leadership style and the communication climate had a significant influence on the work motivation of Indragiri Hilir District Health Office employees. The coefficient of determination of R2 = 0.572 which means that 57.2% of employee work motivation can be explained by the leadership style and communication climate, while the remaining 42.8% is influenced by other variables.
