<p>UMKM are an important part of the economy of a country or region. The Surabaya government created digitalization through "E-Peken" to help the community market their superior UMKM products. However, there are still many micro-business actors in Surabaya who do not understand the digital marketing system. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the existing problems in order to expand the scope of marketing of UMKM in Surabaya through the implementation of the use of E-Peken digital marketing. This study is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey method. The sample of this study was 95 respondents of UMKM actors in the city of Surabaya with a Non-probability sampling technique. The results of this study conclude that the e-readiness or digital readiness of UMKM in Surabaya in utilizing E-Peken is still less than optimal, especially in the indicators of IT knowledge education, experience of participation in IT projects, and the attitude of the owner. Although the indicators of experience in using IT and readiness to partner with the government in digital marketing are quite good, there is still a need for increased management support in utilizing digital technology. <p><em>Local Original Income (PAD) is part of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) revenue used to finance regional spending. Local Original Income (PAD) is obtained through tax revenues that have been regulated in laws and regulations. Seeing that Surabaya City is one of the big cities that has a large number of advertisements, the regulation of advertisement taxes needs to be carried out regularly in order to increase Local Original Income (PAD). The purpose of this study is to see how the Strategy of the Surabaya City Regional Revenue Agency in Regulation of Permanent Advertisement Taxes Below 8M<sup>2</sup>. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to gain a deeper understanding of the phenomenon. Data collection techniques are carried out in several stages such as semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings of this study use the concept of strategic management according to David by reviewing several aspects such as strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and strategy evaluation. In this case, it can be seen that the strategy of the Surabaya City Regional Revenue Agency in Regulation of Permanent Advertisement Taxes Below 8M<sup>2</sup> has been running very well and effectively. At the strategy formulation stage, internal and external opportunities and threats have been considered very well. At the implementation stage, it has been carried out based on legal basis and firm action. <p>This study aims to describe and identify the implementation of the policy for the development of Teritip small-scale industries in Balikpapan City based on Mayor Regulation of Balikpapan Number 12 of 2019 concerning the Management of Teritip Small-Scale Industrial Centers. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method using George C. Edwards III's theoretical approach. The findings indicate that policy implementation faces challenges in communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. Communication is conducted through online media and internal meetings, emphasizing clear language and business actor participation. However, inconsistencies in policy coordination persist. Infrastructure remains insufficient, and there is a lack of trained human resources. The disposition of SIKT UPTD is positive but relies more on sanctions than incentives. The bureaucratic structure is poorly coordinated due to unclear SOP implementation and inadequate work supervision. <p><em>This study is about the role of women and children services units in treating domestic violence victims, whose focus will be on the region's technical management unit of women and children protection areas. The purpose of this study are to (1) learn the role of the women and child services unit in treating domestic violence victims (KDRT) in sidoarjo region, (2) describe a factor in women and child services units dealing with domestic violence (KDRT) in sidoarjo region. This study uses qualitative methods by using qualitative descriptive research methods. The data-collection technique used were interviewed, direct observations, and documentation. The data analysis in this study used data reduction and data verification techniques. As for the theory used in this research is the role theory according to Biddle and Thomas. This study shows that the technical executive unit for sidoarjo district's women and children protection unit for their services are a place of public complaint center, outreach to victims, case management, temporary shelters, mediation and victim assistance. However, UPTD PPA sidoarjo district experienced several inhibiting factors, namely the lack of human resources and the lack of contribution by victims of domestic violence to report the incident. <p>Women remain underrepresented in politics worldwide, especially within male-dominated legislative bodies. This study explores how symbolic interactionism shapes the political journey of women legislators in Indonesia by examining how they navigate gender stereotypes, institutional barriers, and societal expectations. Anchored in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—particularly Goal 5 (gender equality) and Goal 16 (inclusive institutions)—the research offers insights into strategies for fostering more equitable political participation. Using a qualitative ethnographic phenomenological approach, the study followed a female legislator ("Y") in Jember Regency from 2014 to 2023 through in-depth interviews and participant observation. Data were analyzed through the lens of symbolic interactionism to understand how meanings attached to political symbols—such as ambition, leadership, and integrity—influenced Y’s experiences and strategies. Findings show that Y’s presence challenged dominant stereotypes of women as weak leaders but revealed ongoing struggles in accessing lobbying opportunities and influence within male-dominated networks. Her emphasis on political integrity—resisting vote-buying and transactional politics—highlighted a commitment to public service. However, structural constraints such as party dynamics and power struggles limited her advocacy for gender-sensitive policies. Despite electoral success, systemic gender bias and unequal access to political resources undermined her potential impact. The study demonstrates how symbolic interactionism can illuminate women’s political agency and proposes actionable recommendations: reforming party quotas, enforcing anti-discrimination laws, offering institutional support for female legislators, and conducting comparative studies to inform global policy. <p><em>Permasalahan penyalahgunaan narkoba masih menjadi isu serius, tidak hanya di tingkat global, tetapi juga di Indonesia, khususnya di kalangan remaja. Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi di Provinsi Riau menjadi salah satu wilayah yang rawan karena faktor geografis yang dekat dengan jalur peredaran narkoba internasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi Badan Narkotika Nasional Kabupaten (BNNK) Kuantan Singingi dalam mencegah dan memberantas penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan remaja, dengan menggunakan teori manajemen strategi Hunger dan Wheelen, yang mencakup analisis lingkungan, perumusan strategi, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terstruktur dan tidak terstruktur, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BNNK Kuantan Singingi telah merumuskan strategi yang cukup komprehensif, seperti sosialisasi langsung, deteksi dini, dan penyuluhan. Namun, pelaksanaan strategi ini belum berjalan optimal akibat hambatan internal, seperti terbatasnya jumlah personel dan anggaran, serta hambatan eksternal berupa rendahnya kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya penguatan sumber daya, peningkatan kesadaran publik, serta optimalisasi teknologi digital untuk mendukung keberhasilan strategi pencegahan narkoba di kalangan remaja.</em></p>Priko Okta WijayaRaegen Harahap
