Abstract

This study aims to identify food consumption patterns, analyze food security levels, and examine factors influencing food security in fishermen households in Tanjung Village. Respondents in this study were 41 people. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis, food expenditure proportions, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the largest consumption pattern is from carbohydrates. The food security of fishing households in Tanjung Village is 55% and was in the food secure category. Variables that influenced food security are family dependent and the price of rice. Suggestions for the government are expected to provide education regarding the importance of nutritional knowledge and food consumption, while fishermen are expected to have alternative jobs other than going to sea because their income is uncertain every day.
