Using a bibliometric approach, this study aims to map the global research landscape on childhood TS from 1960 to 2024. Data were sourced from the Scopus database and analyzed using Publish or Perish, Microsoft Excel, and VOSviewer. Results indicate fluctuating publication trends, with a peak in 2005, driven by advancements in genetic diagnostics such as FISH and the Human Genome Project. The United States leads in research output and international collaboration. Keyword analysis identified six main research clusters: quality of life, cognitive function, metabolic disorders, puberty, and early diagnosis. However, gaps remain in research concerning the psychosocial and emotional support needs of TS patients. This study recommends a multidisciplinary approach and further exploration of socio-emotional aspects to enhance interventions and improve the quality of life for children with Turner Syndrome, especially in developing countries like Indonesia, where epidemiological data and public awareness remain limited.
Aninda Dwi Prastiti, Afidah Ilhama Fikri, Daradinda Betayandiansari Putri, I Gusti Agung Dyah Cahyaningrat, Supra Wimbarti, Zulfikri Khakim ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.uwp.ac.id/fpsi/index.php/psikowipa/article/view/209 Wed, 30 Jul 2025 06:02:54 SE Asia Daylight Time Emotion Focused Coping And Its Role In Alleviating Loneliness Among Adolescents With Working Parents https://jurnal.uwp.ac.id/fpsi/index.php/psikowipa/article/view/178
The phenomenon of dual-career families in Indonesia, which accounts for 87.05% of households, has the potential to affect adolescents’ mental health. Indonesia ranks second highest in adolescent loneliness prevalence in the ASEAN region, at 9.6%, following the Philippines. This study is a correlational quantitative research involving 105 adolescents aged 10–19 years with working parents, aiming to analyze the relationship between emotion-focused coping and the level of loneliness. The instruments used were the Loneliness Scale and the Emotion-Focused Coping Scale. The results indicated a significant but weak negative correlation (r = -0.230; p = 0.018), suggesting that higher use of emotion-focused coping is associated with lower levels of loneliness. The majority of respondents reported a moderate level of loneliness (39%) and a very high use of emotion-focused coping strategies (38.1%). These findings indicate that while emotion-focused coping may contribute to reducing loneliness, other factors are likely to have a stronger influence on the level of loneliness experienced by adolescents.
Enisa Zahrotunnikha, Sandra Adetya ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.uwp.ac.id/fpsi/index.php/psikowipa/article/view/178 Wed, 30 Jul 2025 06:55:54 SE Asia Daylight Time Growth Mindset and Resilience in the Coastal Community of Kampung Bahari Nusantara, Kulonprogo https://jurnal.uwp.ac.id/fpsi/index.php/psikowipa/article/view/193
Kampung Bahari Nusantara (KBN) program is a collaborative effort between the government and TNI-AL to improve the quality of life of maritime communities living in coastal areas. Effective time management behavior can be a crucial factor in mitigating these negative effects. This study aims to determine the relationship between time management and work-family conflict among married female workers at RSUD X. The research subjects consisted of 100 female administrative staff across various units and installations, using a saturated sampling technique. Normality, linearity, and Spearman's rho correlation analyses were conducted. The results indicate a highly significant negative relationship, meaning better time management among female workers correlates with lower work- family conflict, and vice versa. This research found that time management effectively contributed 19.4% to work-family conflict. Furthermore, female workers at RSUD X experienced work-family conflict in the moderate category on average. These findings provide significant data within the context of female healthcare workers and affirm that time management behavior is an effective intervention strategy to reduce work-family conflict.
Dini Karunia Putri, Yanto Prasetyo, Hikmah Husniyah Farhanindya ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.uwp.ac.id/fpsi/index.php/psikowipa/article/view/169 Wed, 30 Jul 2025 07:15:39 SE Asia Daylight Time Prompting Technique Using Playdough Media: Enhancing Fine Motor Skills in Children with Moderate Intellectual Disability https://jurnal.uwp.ac.id/fpsi/index.php/psikowipa/article/view/307
This research aims to see the effectiveness of prompting techniques using playdough media in improving the fine motor skills of children with moderate intellectual disability. This condition causes state detention center (Rutan), which are supposed to provide services and care for inmates, to also function as places for inmate rehabilitation. Limited communication between inmates and their close relatives, who have traditionally been their confidants, can lead to feelings of loneliness among inmates if they cannot adapt to their environment. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of religiosity and emotional intelligence on the loneliness of inmates at Class IIB Bangkalan State Detention Center. This research is quantitative, employing multiple regression methods. The sample consists of 82 inmates selected using probability sampling with a random sampling technique. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires distributed to the inmates. This study utilized three measurement tools: The Centrality of Religiosity Scale, Emotional Intelligence Scale, and UCLA Loneliness Scale, which included 76 statement items. Data analysis involved normality tests, linearity tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, and multiple regression tests using IBM SPSS 27 software. The results indicate a significant effect of the independent variables (religiosity and emotional intelligence) on the dependent variable (loneliness) based on hypothesis testing results. The significance value obtained is 0.000 < 0.05. Therefore, the research hypothesis (Ha) is rejected and the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted, indicating a significant influence of religiosity and emotional intelligence on loneliness. The determination test conducted in this study shows an R Square value of 28.3%, while the remaining 71.7% is influenced by other variables not explained in this research. Future research can be conducted with the same variables but with more specific respondent characteristics or by introducing different variables.
Asrul Huda ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.uwp.ac.id/fpsi/index.php/psikowipa/article/view/201 Wed, 30 Jul 2025 09:57:38 SE Asia Daylight Time The Impact of Psychoeducation on Improving the Quality of Peer Counseling Comprehension: A Study on Students at SMPN 32 https://jurnal.uwp.ac.id/fpsi/index.php/psikowipa/article/view/238
One of the efforts of the Surabaya City Education Department to create child-friendly schools is by forming Pemantik (Best Friend Tutors) communities in various public and private junior high schools in Surabaya. SMPN 32 Surabaya actively participates in this community through educational activities on positive values on social media and participation in educational competitions. However, the results of interviews with guidance and counseling teachers at SMPN 32 Surabaya show that the role of Pemantik members has not been optimally involved as peer counselors. Therefore, researchers conducted peer counseling psychoeducation with a focus on efforts to increase knowledge and understanding about peer counseling. The research method used is one group pre-test and post-test experiments. The results show that there are significant differences in students' understanding but the psychoeducation carried out has not been effective as a form of intervention in increasing their knowledge about peer counseling. These results are based on statistical tests of pre-test and post-test scores with paired sample T-tests and N-Gain tests. Therefore, it is necessary to adapt strategies to improve the effectiveness of psychoeducation programs in increasing understanding of peer counseling by means of role play training as counselees and counselors, as well as simplifying the material presented.
Sukma Dewi Sholehah, Soffy Balgies, Nova Lusiana ##submission.copyrightStatement## http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 https://jurnal.uwp.ac.id/fpsi/index.php/psikowipa/article/view/238 Thu, 31 Jul 2025 09:30:27 SE Asia Daylight Time
