Peningkatan Kompetensi Computer Aided Design terhadap Siswa SMK Sunan Ampel Sebagai Implementasi Teknologi Proses Pemesinan.
Abstract
Computer Aided Design (CAD) merupakan penggunaan perangkat lunak berbasis komputer untuk membantu pemodelan desain, analisis desain, tinjauan desain dan dokumentasi desain. Meskipun demikian, manfaat CAD dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggabungkan proses pemesinan dan proses manufaktur. Semakin rumit desain yang akan diproses pada mesin, maka perlu adanya skill tambahan untuk menerapkan CAD yang lebih detail. Pada pelatihan ini, Prodi Teknik Mesin bekerja sama dengan SMK Sunan Ampel Menganti Gresik. Peserta yang hadir pada pelatihan ini sebanyak 30 siswa. Materi pelatihan meliputi Persiapan, proses (sistematika dan langkah kerja), kualitas produk kerja, sikap/etos kerja dan Akhiran kerja. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa penilaian tingkat persiapan sebesar 100%, proses (sistematika dan langkah kerja) sebesar 74%, kualitas produk kerja mencapai nilai 57%, sikap/etos kerja mencaai 56% dan Akhiran kerja 100%. Sehingga dari pelatihan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa minat siswa terhadap CAD untuk meningkatkan skill sangat diminati. Keberlanjutan pelatihan ini akan ditingkatkan dengan menambah bobot pelatihan materi yang diberikan kepada siswa.
