Sosialisasi TOEFL dan Teknik Pembuatan Curriculum Vitae untuk Mempersiapkan Siswa SMA Menghadapi Dunia Kerja dan Pendidikan Tinggi
Abstract
Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bahasa Inggris dan kemampuan penyusunan Curriculum Vitae (CV) bagi siswa SMA Negeri 3 Surabaya. Melalui pelatihan TOEFL dan pembuatan CV, siswa diharapkan dapat mempersiapkan diri dengan baik untuk menghadapi ujian praktek dan dunia kerja. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan memberikan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya TOEFL sebagai alat ukur kemampuan bahasa Inggris, serta cara menyusun CV yang efektif dan menarik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terhadap materi TOEFL dan berhasil menyusun CV yang lebih baik setelah mendapatkan bimbingan intensif. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan manfaat dalam membekali siswa dengan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi atau memasuki dunia kerja. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil memenuhi tujuannya untuk mempersiapkan siswa SMA dalam menghadapi tantangan global di masa depan.
