Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Penerimaan Karyawan Baru Dengan Metode SAW Di PT. Sika Indonesia
Abstract
Government and non-government agencies require potential assets in the form of human resources (HR). To make it easier to manage the activities of an agency, quality human resources are needed. This is to achieve the stated goals of an agency or company. PT. Sika Indonesia has various branches in Indonesia, one of which is PT. Sika Indonesia is located in Gresik Regency. Employees in the production department are one of the determining factors for the company's success. The production section does not only refer to quantity values, but must maintain the quality values of products produced from the production process, both finished products and semi-finished products at PT. Sika Indonesia. In order to produce high quality products PT. Sika Indonesia also needs employees with quality human resources. Currently, the process of accepting prospective employees at PT. Sika Indonesia still uses manual calculations. Personnel use Microsoft Excel to calculate scores from psychological tests to final interviews obtained by prospective employees. The difficulty in determining the objectivity of decision making as well as good and accurate assessments requires a very long time in the process. Seeing this reality, to support the process of accepting new prospective employees it is necessary to build an application using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. All prospective employee data, interview and psychological test results are integrated and stored in the application. Candidate employee data is analyzed by the application to produce alternative decisions to help employee selection without requiring a long time
