PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DAN KOMPENSASI MELALUI MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PT PEGADAIAN AREA PROBOLINGGO
Abstract
In 2023, PT Pegadaian Area Probolinggo will have good performance by achieving the 3rd best Key Performance Indicator (KPI) ranking in the XII Surabaya Regional Office. In achieving this good performance, the leadership style of the leaders at PT Pegadaian Area Probolinggo is felt to have a strong influence. Apart from that, the compensation received by PT Pegadaian Area Probolinggo employees also increases along with the employee's good performance. These two things can influence employee motivation in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, which in the end can influence employee performance in achieving targets set by the Company. The general aim of this research is to prove and analyze the influence of leadership style and compensation on employee performance through motivation. The analytical tool used is path analysis with a sample of 126, all of whom are employees of PT Pegadaian Area Probolinggo. After the analysis was carried out, it was found that all seven hypotheses proposed were acceptable and proven to be true. This means that leadership style and compensation have a significant effect on employee performance through motivation.
