PENGARUH TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP DAN KOMITMEN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DENGAN MOTIVASI KERJA SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI PADA SMA NEGERI 2 JEMBER
Abstract
This study aims to prove and analyze the influence of transformational leadership and work commitment on teacher performance with work motivation as a mediating variable at SMA Negeri 2 Jember. The population in this study is all teachers who serve at SMA Negeri 2 Jember amounting to 55 people. This type of research is explanatory with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique is a saturated sample so that the entire population is used as a research sample. The data analysis technique uses path analysis. The results of the study show that transformational leadership has a significant effect on motivation. Work commitment has a significant effect on work motivation. Transformational leadership has no significant effect on teacher performance. Work commitment has a significant effect on teacher performance. Work motivation is significant to teacher performance. Work motivation can be a variable that mediates the influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance. However, work motivation is not able to be a variable that mediates the influence between work commitments on teacher performance.
