STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KOMPETENSI JURU PELIHARA DALAM PELESTARIAN CAGAR BUDAYA DI BPK WILAYAH XI DI KABUPATEN MOJOKERTO

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy for improving the competence of cultural heritage caretakers (juru pelihara) at the Cultural Heritage Preservation Center (BPK) Region XI, located in Mojokerto Regency. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study employs data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation, analyzed with TNA and SWOT strategies. The findings indicate the presence of a digital competence gap among caretakers due to low educational background and limited training effectiveness. Recommendations include implementing structured training aligned with real field needs, mentoring programs, and continuous post-training evaluation.
