Abstract

This study aims to analyze e-government policies within the Sisemar system to optimize correspondence administration in the administrative sub-section of the Sampang Regency Education Office. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data analysis techniques used by the researcher include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The application of digitalization concepts in the public sector must be carried out seriously and be given attention by the public sector. The Harvard JFK School of Government suggests three elements of successful e-Government implementation that must be possessed and given serious attention: Support, Capacity, and Value. The results of the data analysis indicate that the application of e-government policies within the Sisemar system to optimize correspondence administration in the Administrative Sub-section of the Sampang Regency Education Office still requires improvement. One way to achieve this is by developing e-Government through practical steps and measurable objectives that are easily understood and followed by all parties involved. Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions serves as the main foundation for e-Government implementation in Indonesia. The law emphasizes the need to support the government in developing information technology through a legal and regulatory framework that ensures the secure use of information technology.
