PENGARUH KOMPETENSI KARYAWAN DAN GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN MELALUI MOTIVASI KERJA DI PT PEGADAIAN CABANG TLOGOMAS MALANG
Abstract
This study aims to describe and examine the influence of Employee Competence and Transformational Leadership Style on Employee Performance through Work Motivation at PT Pegadaian Tlogomas Branch Malang. The sample in this study consisted of 1 respondent from the leadership level and 45 respondents from the employee level, using a total sampling technique. The research used quantitative data derived from primary sources, with data collected through a survey using a questionnaire. The data collection employed a five-point Likert scale. This study used dual-path linear regression analysis with the assistance of SmartPLS. The results of the analysis show that employee competence and transformational leadership style significantly influence work motivation. Employee competence does not significantly affect employee performance. Transformational leadership style has a significant influence on employee performance. Employee competence does not influence performance through work motivation. Transformational leadership style also does not influence performance through work motivation. Furthermore, work motivation does not significantly affect employee performance at PT Pegadaian Tlogomas Branch.
