Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and internal communication on employees’ collaborative performance, with digital adaptability as an intervening variable at the Department of Communication and Informatics of Probolinggo City. The sampling technique used in this study was saturated sampling, involving a total of 68 respondents. This research employed a quantitative approach. The data analysis technique utilized the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with the SmartPLS version 4.0 software application, which includes the processes of designing the Inner Structural Model, the Outer Measurement Model, and hypothesis testing. The findings show that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on digital adaptability, and it also directly exerts a positive influence on collaborative performance. Internal communication is proven to have a positive and significant effect on both digital adaptability and collaborative performance. In addition, digital adaptability significantly influences collaborative performance and serves as a mediating variable between emotional intelligence and internal communication on employees’ collaborative performance.
