ANALISIS MANAJEMEN PELAKSANAAN REKAM MEDIS DI RSIA IBI SURABAYA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the completeness and procedures for implementing medical record management at IBI Surabaya Maternal and Child Hospital (RSIA). In addition, to analyze the discipline and responsibility of medical personnel in the implementation of medical records, to analyze the timeliness in returning medical records and to analyze hospital management in overcoming medical record problems at the IBI Surabaya Maternal and Child Hospital (RSIA). The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data analysis using triangulation. The results of the study show that the implementation of medical records at RSIA IBI Surabaya has been running in accordance with the provisions stipulated in Permenkes No.269 of 2008 and Permenkes No.24 of 2022, but it has not been optimal, the implementation of filling medical records has reached 80-85 percent. The responsibility of doctors in the implementation of filling out medical records is still not disciplined, even though medical records are authentic evidence, the absence of medical records and administration is very closely related to the licensing of medical practice. The discipline of medical personnel and other personnel related to the timeliness in the return of medical records has gone well, but it still needs to be improved. The hospital intensively reminds and makes other related personnel aware of the importance of medical records as part of the quality of service to patients.
