Pelatihan Dan Pengenalan Kepada Siswa Sma Negeri Surabaya Barat Tentang Pengolahan Sampah Plastik Menjadi Bahan Bakar Minyak Menggunakan Sistem Pirolisis Kapasitas 10 Liter
Abstract
Dengan rendahnya tingkat daur ulang saat ini dan peningkatan produksi plastik secara eksponensial, terjadi peningkatan pemborosan bahan plastik, sehingga diperlukan teknologi baru untuk pemurnian limbah. Saat ini di surabaya, hanya sekitar 14% limbah plastik yang didaur ulang, yang sebagian besar dicapai melalui daur ulang mekanis. Metode daur ulang kimia seperti pirolisis dapat meningkatkan tingkat daur ulang ini secara signifikan, karena dapat memanfaatkan campuran limbah plastik tidak seperti daur ulang mekanis. Pirolisis menawarkan alternatif yang ramah lingkungan untuk insinerasi dan penimbunan sampah yang tidak efisien. Saat ini, tantangan utama untuk pirolisis limbah plastik adalah tidak tersedianya dan kualitas bahan baku yang tidak konsisten, pemilahan yang tidak efisien dan karenanya mahal, tidak adanya pasar yang menyatakan kurangnya produk standar, dan peraturan yang tidak jelas seputar pengelolaan limbah plastik. Solusi yang mungkin dapat mencakup kerja sama yang erat antara penyedia bahan baku dan konverter untuk memastikan kuantitas dan kualitas bahan baku yang stabil. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk melaksanakan pelatihan dan pengenalan bagi siswa SMA Wachid Hasyim 5 Surabaya tentang proses kondensasi pada pengolahan limbah plastik menjadi bahan bakar minyak menggunakan sistem pirolisis dengan kapasitas 10 liter.
