Pengembangan Model Evaluasi Kinerja Karyawan Terintegrasi Menggunakan Metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Pada Industri Manufaktur Baja
Abstract
In a rapidly expanding and increasingly competitive steel industry, organizations are required to implement integrated performance management systems that can effectively align human resources, operational processes, and strategic objectives. PT. Surya Mas Megah Steel Surabaya, as a steel manufacturing company with a complex production line, faces significant challenges in conducting objective evaluations of both employee and operational performance. The absence of a structured and measurable framework often leads to assessments that are not fully aligned with organizational goals. This study proposes the design of an integrated performance management system based on the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), which functions as a multi-criteria decision-making tool to identify and prioritize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). The pairwise comparison analysis reveals that work productivity (0.47) is the most dominant criterion, followed by work quality (0.28), work discipline (0.16), and team collaboration (0.10). The low Consistency Ratio value (CR = 0,021) indicates that the model is reliable, enabling it to provide a transparent and systematic evaluation tool for PT. Surya Mas Megah Steel to enhance performance assessment, improve efficiency, and sustain competitiveness in the steel industry.
