Abstract
This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of the variables of ability, communication, compensation on job satisfaction and employee performance. The population used was 14 employees of the Millennial Project and 16 employees of Karunia Photo & Printing. The sampling technique used census sampling. This research technique uses SEM with the help of the SmartPLS application. Research results show ability on job satisfaction and employee performance has a positive and significant effect. Communication on job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect. Compensation on job satisfaction, compensation on employee performance, job satisfaction on employee performance has a positive and insignificant effect. Communication on employee performance has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance. Ability on employee performance through the mediation variable of job satisfaction does not have a significant positive indirect effect. Communication on employee performance through the mediation variable of job satisfaction does not have a significant negative and indirect effect. Compensation on employee performance through the mediation variable of job satisfaction does not have a significant positive and indirect influence.
