Online Submission Procedure

Authors intending to submit manuscripts to Implementasi Manajemen & Kewirausahaan (IMKA) are required to complete the online submission process through the journal’s electronic submission system. Authors must ensure that all mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*) are completed accurately and comprehensively to facilitate efficient manuscript processing.

Upon completing the registration form, authors must click the “Register” button to finalize account creation. Authors will subsequently be directed to the online submission interface. To initiate manuscript submission, authors must select the “New Submission” option and follow the structured submission workflow as outlined below.

Step 1 – Starting the Submission

Authors must carefully review and confirm compliance with the journal’s submission checklist, which includes confirmation that the manuscript meets all formatting, ethical, and originality requirements. Authors must also agree to the journal’s copyright and publication policy by selecting the appropriate confirmation statements. Once all requirements have been confirmed, authors must click “Save and Continue” to proceed to the next stage.

Step 2 – Uploading the Manuscript File

Authors must upload the main manuscript document by selecting the “Browse” button under the submission file section and choosing the manuscript file in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). Authors must ensure that the manuscript file does not contain any identifying author information in order to maintain the integrity of the double-blind peer-review process.

Authors must not upload cover letters, supplementary files, or additional documentation at this stage. After successfully uploading the manuscript file, authors must click “Save and Continue” to proceed.

Step 3 – Entering Submission Metadata

Authors must provide complete and accurate metadata, including:

  • Full names of all authors

  • Institutional affiliations

  • Email addresses

  • Designation of the corresponding author

Authors must also enter the manuscript title, abstract, and keywords by copying and pasting the content into the designated fields in the submission system. Metadata accuracy is essential to ensure proper indexing, citation tracking, and scholarly visibility. After completing all required metadata fields, authors must click “Save and Continue.”

Step 4 – Uploading Supplementary Files

Authors may upload supplementary materials that support the manuscript, including research instruments, datasets, appendices, ethical approval documents, or additional supporting materials. Supplementary files must be uploaded using the “Browse” and “Upload” buttons.

This step is optional. Authors who do not have supplementary materials may proceed by selecting “Save and Continue.”

Step 5 – Confirming the Submission

Authors must conduct a final verification of all uploaded files and submission details to ensure accuracy and completeness. After confirming that all information is correct, authors must click “Finish Submission” to complete the submission process.

Submission Confirmation and Tracking

Upon successful submission, authors will receive an automated confirmation email acknowledging receipt of the manuscript. Authors may monitor the status of their submission at any time by logging into the journal’s online submission system. The system enables authors to track manuscript progress throughout the editorial workflow, including peer-review status, revision requests, and final editorial decisions.
